WELCOME DEAR STUDENTS


Hi my dear students, here, we are going to have a place in which I will tell you your assignments and I´ll receive your comments.

Then, all of you are going to have your own blog, which you will give me the URL, so I can monitor or supervise your work.

I want to propose two kinds of works for you to choose the one you like the best.
The first one is going to be about making didactic material to support the English programs. You are going to work with the program from your grade. You can work in pairs or trios. Here I´m going to give you some sites.

How are you going to work? As I told you, you are going to work according to the program.
1. In first place you are going to write the PRESENTATION of the unit or the theme. (with a video or something like that).
2. Write OBJECTIVE and there you are going to write the purpose of the unit.
3. Write the CONTENT. (CONCEPTS, PROCEDURES, ATTITUDES OR FUNCTIONS, with pre-activities, activities and post-activities).
4. Write a SELF-EVALUATION. (A test. It could be a fill in, match, complete or compose activity).
5. Write the REFERENCES.

The other alternative is to do a research work about a theme that you like the best.
Then, you are going to:
1. Choose your theme.
2. Find 5 sources.
3. Do a triptych about each of your 5 sites and a conceptual map from each ones. It would contain a summary, a glossary and two timelines.
4. You should do an essay from 5 to 10 pages.
5. You should do a poster.
6. You are going to present your poster to the group. (10 minutos with questions and answers).
7. Then, you are going to be ready to present your work in a Forum or Congress.

IMPORTANT DATES TO CONSIDER FOR YOUR GRADES.
1. If you chose the first option, that it is the elaboration of the Didactic Material to support the programs, then, for Thursday 16th, you will have to have at least the first two units from the program.
2. If you chose the second option, that it is the research work, for Thursday 16th, you will have to have points from 1 to 3, on your blog and to bring to the Mediateca the 5 triptychs, the conceptual map, the summary, glossary and 2 timelines.
